5 Things you should know about CA-CPT Exam
Below are basic five things you need to know about CA-CPT Exam:
1. Who can appear for CA-CPT Exam
Students who have passed or appeared (for June attempt) for 12th Standard Exam are eligible for CPT.Students from commerce, science, arts or any other stream all are eligible.
2. Exam & Registration
Exams are held twice a year one in the month of June & another Dec . Results are out within a month of exam.When registration has to be done : Before 1st April for June attempt & before 1st Oct for Dec attempt.
3. Pass criteria
Minimum 30% marks in individual subjects and 50% in aggregate.

4.Format
MCQ format, 200 questions with 1 marks each. 0.25 Negative Marking for every wrong answers.
It’s a paper-pencil mode, you have to circle right answer.Note multiple darkened circle will be treated as wrong answer.
5. Calculators are allowed in exam. However Scientific calculator & Mobile phones are not allowed.
